Everything we do is because of a feeling we want or a feeling we want to get away from . Change begins with your thoughts. Struggling and punishing the change out of you won't last.

Any action we take is because of a feeling we want to feel; a habit, an item, a lifestyle. It's not the actual destination but the good feeling we think we will feel when we get there.

Wherever you are right now has come about from a thought. Our thoughts create our feelings which determine what action we will take.

​We jump into a change with such enthusiasm and are determined to make it stay around this time and then we STOP. We know what we need to do to get there. We set reminders and make sure we fit the change into our daily routine and make the time and space for it but we still don't do it? Or we try it out for a while, enjoy how it makes us feel and then stop? WHY do we stop doing something we know is good for us? 

The starting point shouldn't be in the action of the new habit but in the thoughts and feelings behind the action. Why are you self sabotaging. Is it a belief that you don't deserve it? Is it because you've tried to lose weight using so many new diets/exercise plans that you don't truly think anything will work which is the real reason for the lack of action. Or do you overeat because food was a scarcity in your childhood so you have a fear that it will run out?

Be the observer of your own mind and watch over your thoughts. What are you thinking and feeling when you decide to not take the daily action? Don't try and fix it, just watch. Once you are aware of WHY you're putting  up the blocks, you can then start experimenting with ways to alter those thoughts, those beliefs. Once we have identified, they can seem so irrational and crazy but they can be the culprits to blocking and keeping us safe and stagnant.

If you change the action without changing the thoughts and feelings, you'll keep ending up at the same point;  disappointed and frustrated that nothing is changing.

The power is truly in your thoughts.

Long term change is an inside job.

Understand and be compassionate with your change. Watch and be with it or you will always be battling with it.

Thoughts create feelings that create action.

Change really is in your hands. It's time to walk your path.
